Alvaro presents as gunmetal, with fractured bedrock and ancient impact basins. Surface temperatures range from -200 to 40°C at 0.8 atm, with ancient impact-triggered seismic cycles. At 5,319 km across, the surface material is primarily thin crust over a partially molten mantle. Structurally similar to the terrestrial planets of the inner system — but at 5,319 km, older, quieter, and far less studied.
