Melody presents as crystal-white, with frost-covered plains and slowly shifting ice sheets. A smaller sibling world shares its sky, near enough to show a visible disc. Surface temperatures range from -180 to -90°C at 300 atm, with ice-quakes detectable across entire hemispheres. At 8,593 km across, the surface material is primarily methane clathrate and water-ice composites. Moonless. Any tidal effects are driven solely by the parent star, producing a simpler but still measurable geological response.
