Martynas

Martynas presents as forest-green, with organism-covered plains where rock is rarely visible, with two moons in orbits that bracket the ring plane, gravitationally confining its outer edges. Composed largely of micron-sized dust grains, the ring system scatters forward light efficiently and would appear faintly luminous against the night sky from the planet's surface. Surface temperatures range from 10 to 55°C at 2.4 atm, with root-triggered subsidence events restructuring the lowland geography. At 8,977 km across, the surface material is primarily biologically active topsoil over sedimentary rock. The biological systems here, if continuous, have had time to achieve a kind of equilibrium that Earth's biosphere has never fully reached.
